About Spirited Adventures
In 1994 Scott and Jackie Dickson along with their son Matthew embarked on a journey to build an eco-tourism business that involved trail rides and guided horseback trips in the Yukon.
Spirited Adventures is based at Spirit Lake Wilderness Resort and offers numerous packages and custom tailored vacations.
Roel & Jitske van den Hoorn moved from the Netherlands to Canada in 1995 and fell in love with Spirit Lake. They have expanded the resort to include lake side cabins, comfortable rooms and adventure travel packages.
Located in the scenic Southern Lakes region it is nestled amidst mountain ranges, the headwaters of the Yukon river and a diverse range of flora and fauna.
We offer combination day trips on horseback and by canoe, overnight horseback pack trips, guided fishing, hiking, train excursion on the White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad, excursions to the Yukon Wildlife Preserve followed by a relaxing soak in the Takhini Hot Springs.
